Yay, sex! Yay, Cameryn Moore! Moore’s monologue about her sex life is funny: “We got together for a blow job and a game of Scrabble. I won, but he was really distracted.” It’s also inclusive: “There are so few people that can handle my kinks that I’m not ruling out partners on the basis of their plumbing.” After awhile, slut (r)evolution starts to feel like transgression for transgression’s sake, and Moore addresses that: “I hate the fact that my being a slut can be traced so directly to me rebelling against my dad and the [Mormon] church.” Still, more insight with the rebellion would have been nice. Ultimately, Moore’s savvy writing and a charismatic performance win the day. Talking about her roommates, she slyly implicates her audience: “I don’t think they were judging me so much as living through me.” And she’s in control as she flips serious moments into hilarity. I like being flipped.
