A keepsake for hardcore McCartney fans: the full Vancouver setlist
If you're one of the roughly 40,000 Paul McCartney freaks who jammed into B.C. Place last night, you already know how awesome he was. For a quick reminder, here's my review.
And if you're the type of hardcore Macca fan who wants to cherish the memory a tad more technically—by recalling exactly which 38 songs he played, and in what order—then here's what you need.
Last night's setlist wasn't a whole lot different from the one I posted yesterday, which was from McCartney's November 14 show at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. But he did make a couple of alterations. For some reason Sir Paul decided not to play Revolver's "Got to Get You Into My Life" in Vancouver, and instead went with Rubber Soul's "Drive My Car". And rather than play Rubber Soul's "I'm Looking Through You"—which I really wanted to hear—he decided on Help!'s "I've Just Seen a Face". I kinda like that one too, though.
The only other difference between the Houston and Vancouver shows was the inclusion of Wings' 1977 hit "Mull of Kintyre" in the second encore, right after "Yesterday" and before "Helter Skelter". Remember how cool it was to see the Delta Police Pipe Band march out for that one last night? What, you've forgotten about them already? Man, do you ever need this reminder of the gig.
Hey, it's a lot cheaper than a T-shirt!

This was an awesome show. And followed up 24 hours later by a spectacularly good Springsteen concert. Perhaps the best back-to-back music nights in Vancouver EVER.
