Anastasia Grishay says she has been persecuted in her home country of Ukraine for her work in pornographic films. Now the adult film actor is asking for asylum in the Czech Republic.

According to the Daily Mail, Grishay—also known by her screen name Wiska—fled to the Czech Republic in 2010 after welfare officials threatened to take her kids. Grishay plans to appeal to the European courts following Czech authorities' denial of her asylum request.

The U.K. tabloid reports that Grishay has the support of Femen, the Ukrainian feminist group known for its headline-making topless protests for women's rights and against the sex industry.
