Ask Your Bartender

Winter's now over, and what better way to celebrate than to down a few drinks with your buddies? Here are some great drinks recommended by the alcohol artisans who lovingly craft them.

Tyler Burnett, Morrissey
The Drink: Vanilla Stoli and Guinness
Word from the bartender: "It's pretty damn good, to be honest with you. You half-pour the Guinness, add the shot of vanilla Stoli in it, then finish the Guinness and drink it up. It gives it a little bit of a cream flavour."

John HART, 50 Bourbon Street
The Drink: Jíƒ ¤ger Bomb
Word from the bartender: "A Jíƒ ¤germeister shot dropped into Red Bull. Jíƒ ¤ger's popular and everybody likes Red Bull."

Marc Andrew, the Buffalo Club
The Drink: Caesar (with a twist)
Word from the bartender: "Well, it's a Caesar: it's Clamato juice, vodka, lime, lemon, Tabasco, and Worcester sauce. Shake everything and then pour it into a glass with ice and pour vodka on top. I think people who order it like it because it's like an appetizer, and it sort of fills you up for a big night of drinking."

Geo Menu, Doolin's
The Drink: Irish Car Bomb
Word from the bartender: "That's a shot of Jameson's Irish whiskey and Baileys dropped into half a glass of Guinness, and then chugged back. The thing looks foul but it's a lot of fun."
