IMVF Set To Screen Again
The third annual Indie Music Video Festival is now accepting submissions. The fest's organizers, Cinestir and Rumbletone Productions, will choose 50 videos to screen over two nights at the ANZA Club in September, with the exact date to be announced. The clips will also be shown in Victoria and Seattle, with viewers in all three cities voting for their favourites. The 25 most popular videos will then appear on a program that tours the continent. Last year the IMVF hit Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, as well as New York, Austin, and Washington, D.C.
Cinestir and Rumbletone will screen some of last year's best videos, along with a preview of the 2004 IMVF, at Toronto's North by Northeast film fest on June 12. This year's submission deadline is June 30. Learn more at www.imvf.com/.
