      What to expect: Introducing Magic Mic! The hottest open-mic in the West End. Calling all comedians, musicians, and all performance acts!       Sophie Buddle Live Album Taping

      When and where: November 28 and 29 at the Comedy MIX at 8:30 p.m.
      What to expect: Vancouver-based comedian Sophie Buddle records her first album live at The Comedy Mix! Come and be part of history (probably)! At only 23 years old, she's already hot off her third run at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. She was runner up at the biggest comedy competition in Canada, SiriusXM's Top Comic. She's done countless other festivals as well as opening for some of her comic heroes, and every month cohosts one of the best local shows- Barely Legal at Slice of Life. Now she will have an album too! What an absolute cutie.

      What to expect: Alternate Dualities is Mathieson McCrae's weekly DUO IMPROV COMEDY show where he forms a new duo with a different guest for each show! Nov 29th's guest is the excellent, witty and hilarious Allie Entwistle! We'll play short then long form for about an hour total. No intermission but you can always get up during the show.

      Instant Theatre at Havana Theatre

      What to expect: 1994 was a big year for Vancouver.
