Bill Burr, Trevor Noah, Nikki Glaser among names on just-announced JFL NorthWest comedy festival roster

      F Is for Family's Bill Burr, The Daily Show's Trevor Noah, and podcaster Jo Koy are just some of the big names heading to next year's JFL NorthWest festival, taking place from March 1 to 10, 2018.

      The event unveiled its list today, with shows at venues around town, and single tickets and a new three-show pass going on sale Friday (December 8) at 10 a.m. at www.JFLNorthWest.com/.

      American comedian, writer, and actor Bill Burr, perhaps best known for his breakout role on Chappelle's Show, will hit the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on March 8 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

      Tacoma-raised Koy, a weekly guest on The Adam Carolla Show podcast before starting his own podcast, The Koy Pond with Jo Koy, hits the same stage on March 7.

      And Noah headlines two shows the same evening of March 9 at the Queen E. His Daily Show correspondent, Ronny Chieng, by the way, hits the Rio Theatre on March 3 and 4.

      Rachel Feinstein plays the BIltmore March 9.

      Other names coming to Vancouver for the third annual rendition of the fest include Saturday Night Live cast members Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata, Lady Dynamite star Maria Bamford, and Brian Regan, Anthony Jeselnik, Mike Birbiglia, Nikki Glaser, Ali Siddiq, Beth Stelling, Vir Das, Rachel Feinstein, and Jim Norton.       Podcast fans will be fully entertained: aside from Koy, Todd Barry hosts a live podcast March 8 (as well as a standup show March 10);  Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld bring their advice podcast “If I Were You” to the Vogue Theatre on March 8; and podcast star (and former UFC and NFL athlete) Brendan Schaub performs March 1 at the Biltmore.
