From February 15 to March 15, the 18th annual Chutzpah! Festival takes over various Vancouver venues.
Arts aficionados can expect to experiece dance, theatre, comedy, and music performances and workshops by local, Canadian, and international artists.
The anticipated dance series is set to showcase works by Ezralow Dance, Roy Assaf Dance, MM Contemporary Dance, Machol Shalem Dance House, and Derida Company, as well as the world premiere of Salomé: Woman of Valor, a multidisciplinary show created by Frank London and Adeena Karasick.
Musical offerings are expected to include concerts by Idan Raichel, Troker, Perla Batalla, Uri Gurvich Quartet, Beyond the Pale, Jake Klar, and Barbara Adler/Ten Thousand Wolves.
Canadian comedic artists Mary Walsh and Jonathan Goldstein are slated to perform, as is New Zealand's Deb Filler. Rounding out the theatre program is Michael Rubenfeld and Sarah Garton Stanley's We Keep Coming Back.
This year, fans can check out art offerings at the Norman Rothstein Theatre, the Scotiabank Dance Centre, the Fox Cabaret, and the Rickshaw Theatre.
