When Chelsea Hotel opened six years ago, the innovative Leonard Cohen tribute blew us away. Something about the six gifted musicians playing 17 instruments, the splendour of Steve Charles’s arrangements, and the inventiveness of Tracey Power’s direction made this ambitious project work.
