Growing Room: A Feminist Literary Festival to feature more than 100 authors

      Growing Room Feminist Literary Festival hosts more than 50 events with boundary-defying talent, from March 8 to 17, 2019. Offerings include workshops and manuscript consultations, panels and readings with award-winning authors, with a focus on art as inspiration, comedy and feminist humour, futurisms, podcasting, inclusive storytelling and survival in the face of systemic abuse.

      Participating writers include Arielle Twist, Heather O'Neill, Sharon Bala, Cicely Belle Blain, Ivan Coyote, Kim Fu, Alicia Elliott, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Carrianne Leung, Shazia Hafiz Ramji, Eden Robinson, Katherena Vermette, Whitney French, Hannah McGregor, Canisia Lubrin, Lorimer Shenher, Elizabeth Renzetti, Robyn Maynard, Joanna Lilley, Maureen Medved, Lindsay Wong, and many more.

      Growing Room is committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Registration for all panels and readings is free or pay-what-you-can, and other events are priced affordably.
