(Community announcement by Vancouver Jewish Film Festival)

Audiences from all walks of life are invited to experience inspirational filmmaking at the longest running Jewish film festival in Canada. This year's film selections include a mix of award-winning dramas, comedies, and documentaries that highlight the diversity of Jewish culture and appeal to the need for global unity, human connection, and environmental sustainability. Diversity is one of the pillars of the modern world, where everyone knows someone who once called another place home. It’s one of the things that contributes to the vibrancy and multiculturalism of everyday life. The films selected for this year’s Vancouver Jewish Film Festival speak to those shared diasporic narratives and hope to inspire discussions about just how connected we are by our shared human experiences and the lengths we go to find a place we can call home.
