Jerusalem Quartet and South African cellist Abel Selaocoe headline Vancouver Recital Society 2020-21 season

      A ukulele orchestra, soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci, and the  Jerusalem Quartet playing all 16 of Beethoven's string quartets are part of Vancouver Recital Society's just-announced season.

      The 2020-21 lineup also includes South African Abel Selaocoe, who works with African compositions and umqokola throat singing.

      Other names on the roster include cellist Zlatomir Fung, Omer Quartet with accordionist Hanzhi Wang, the Dover Quartet with harpist Bridget Kibbey, and the Chiaroscuro Quartet. Trombonist Peter Moore, and pianists Tamara Stefanovich, Alexander Malofeev, and Tom Borrow also will be hitting Vancouver.
