2021 Vancouver International Dance Festival features 18 livestream performances from March 4 to June 19

      The Vancouver International Dance Festival has announced its lineup for 2021.

      For its 21st season the festival will livestream 18 contemporary dance performances from March 4 to June 19, 2021.

      Vancouver dance companies showcased will include Ne. Sans Opera & Dance, Company 605, Vidya Kotamraju, CAMP and Lamondance. Also performing will be Toronto’s Yvonne Ng/tiger princess dance projects.

      The festival’s mission, according to the info on its website, is "to build audiences and appreciation for equity-seeking contemporary dance artists and marginalized dance practices through programming a spectrum of kinetically exciting work that broadens definitions of the form."

      All VIDF performances will be broadcast from the KW Production Studio, and prices are pay-what-you-can.
