Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore: Project Limelight transports audiences back to Oz with an urban twist in its latest production. The modern adaptation of the classic, called There’s No Place Like Oz, is performed by the Downtown Eastside kids-theatre program’s 18 performers, in fun pantomime style, with music, comedy, and dance. The sets (by Mark Atomos Pilon) and costumes (by Jodi Jacyk) are colourful and elaborate—so much so that you won’t want to be clicking your heels to go home. The all-ages show is at the Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema, at SFU Woodward’s in the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, on Sunday (February 24) at 2 and 6 p.m.
