You probably can’t run away with the circus, but you can certainly let the circus run away with you and your imagination if you follow the yellow brick road to the PNE Garden Auditorium this Thursday through Sunday (May 7 to 10), where CircusWest presents its new show. The Circus of Oz, directed by Jay Nunns, is an acrobatic, multimedia reworking of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale The Wizard of Oz. It features students from CircusWest’s Performance and Centre Stage—as well as Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Lion, and the Wizard. You will definitely not be in Kansas.
