Western Front’s annual Toque sale

We’re filing this holiday market under “Arts” because of what it sells and who it raises money for. The Western Front’s annual Toque sale, which happens at the atmospheric old heritage hall/indie-arts hub on Friday night (December 6) and Saturday (December 7), is a fundraiser for the artist-run organization. It’s also full of creative delights you won’t find anywhere else this year—from Draw Me a Lion’s artist-drawn colouring posters to Paperbacknote Rebind’s notebooks that have old paperback-book covers. Art books, small-batch caramels, hand-sewn stuffies, and ceramics: it’s all here, and more. You may even find yourself a cleverly crafted toque.
