The Vancouver Fringe Festival has announced it is going year-round.

The event is stretching beyond its early-September time slot to present a series of shows between February and May 2014 at the Waterfront Theatre, Studio 1398, and Performance Works, both on Granville Island where the fest is based.

One Man Lord of the Rings, by Charles Ross (of the Fringe hit One Man Star Wars Trilogy); Hockey Night at the Puck and Pickle Pub (a Pick of the Fringe Winner earlir this year); Nashville Hurricane (featuring Chase Padgett, of another 2013 Fringe hit, 6Guitars); and Little Orange Man (a 2011 Pick of the Fringe winner) and its sequel Kitt & Jane are the shows in the Fringe’s first year-round series.

On special Totem Figures nights, stage favourite TJ Dawe interviews Padgett and Ross about their work for podcast.

Tickets will run $25 each or $35 on Totem Figures Nights, or 30 percent off for three or more; they're available via vancouverfringe.com/.
