You may know him as the standout guy in Breaking Bad, Chappelle's Show, and Daddy's Home, but true comedy fans know Bill Burr is first and foremost one kickass standup comedian.

Good news, then, that the JFL NorthWest comedy fest has announced it's bringing the hilariously rage-prone Bostonian to the Orpheum on January 17.

Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. at www.jflnorthwest.com

It's been a busy year for Burr: he's performed a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden and debuted his animated Netflix series F Is for Family, among many other gigs.

When he was here for a hit run at the Vogue in 2014, our critic said "he’s quite likable on-stage, whether he’s railing about nerds, defending the Duck Dynasty homophobe, or refusing to sleep on the couch after a fight with his wife. His logic, while sometimes twisted, is pretty understandable and relatable. He also doesn’t come across as a just-telling-it-like-it-is blowhard."

Burr joins a JFL NorthWest lineup that includes, so far, Trevor Noah, Wanda Sykes, Lewis Black, David Cross, Miranda Sings, Jeremy Hotz, Janeane Garofalo, Vir Das, and Ron Funches.
