Editor’s choice: Little One serves up a creepy sister-brother act

Alley Theatre’s dark and creepy offering won raves at last year’s New York International Fringe Festival, with Timeout saying actors Daniel Arnold and Marisa Smith “prod us into laughter between our shocked gasps”. Now Little One, playwright Hannah Moscowitch’s script about two monumentally dysfunctional adopted siblings, returns home again, first to New West and then downtown. If you missed it before, or just want to relive the beyond-black laughs and the chills travelling down your spine, catch it before it’s gone again.

Little One is at New West’s Anvil Centre until Saturday (February 6) and at the Firehall Arts Centre from next Tuesday to Saturday (February 9 to 13).
