Devin Mackenzie and Tom Hill, better known by their stage name, Hip.Bang!, have been in the business of making people laugh since 2007. This month, the Canadian Comedy Award-nominated duo will hit the stage not once but twice, as part of the Just For Laughs Northwest comedy festival.

With almost 10 years in the business, Hip.Bang! has taken their absurd brand of comedy from New York City to San Francisco to Austin and more, receiving rave reviews at every turn. (Don't believe me? NYC's Curtain Up magazine called their act "world class improv".) Their web series, Pitch Menwas recently picked up by the U.S.-based Laff Network, and they're currently in pre-production for another web series, Oddlandwhich will begin shooting in the spring.

If that's not enough, they'll be headed to Los Angeles very soon to film their very own Comedy Central showcase.

"We also continue to run and teach and do comedy at Blind Tiger Comedy, which is our comedy school in East Van," said Hill in an interview at the Vancouver TheatreSports lounge with the Straight earlier this month. We sat down with Hill and Mackenzie to find out just what to expect at their upcoming JFL shows.
