The City of Richmond announced today that contest winners will make up the next series of No. 3 Road art columns.

This year's call asks for works that highlights activities or benefits that reflect how the arts impact individual and/or community health and well-being. Artists aren't limited to any specific medium and are invited to propose photography, painting, graphic design, mixed-media, collage, or other.

Come June, 12 artists will be selected by an arms-length panel made up of artists, arts professionals, and community representatives to display their work along No. 3 Road outside the Aberdeen and Lansdowne Canada Line stations.

There will be a People’s Choice award, two Honourable Mentions and each selected artist will receive $400.

Artists 16 years and older are invited to submit their designs digitally by May 26. For more information, visit howartworks.ca/contest.
