Some of Vancouver’s most creative youth show their stuff at the OneLove Festival this Thursday night (August 21) at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre. The fourth annual event, which includes a gallery opening with ceramic and graphic art, followed by a show featuring music, film, and dance (including Shannon Ko and Hanna Kim), is put on by the youth nonprofit ArtQuake. This year’s theme is the role of art in destigmatizing mental health. Tickets are by donation ($5 minimum). It’s a chance to check out the art stars of tomorrow and watch them shake things up a bit.
