David Wilson at the Kimoto Gallery

David Wilson has lived in Vancouver for 25 years, and you can tell he knows the life and character of the streets here in everything he paints. Head to the Kimoto Gallery until October 11 to see his newest works in a show aptly named intersections: think headlights bouncing off the rain-slicked cobblestones of Gastown, a stylized scene of Granville Row and the historic Vogue sign, or the Burrard Bridge silhouetted as twilight falls. His new paintings are on canvas and board, and are joined by a selection of looser deconstructed works produced on corrugated board.
