JFL NorthWest has announced it's adding a second show for The Daily Show star Trevor Noah at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The added gig happens February 23 at 9:30 p.m. and tickets go on sale here at 10 a.m. tomorrow (January 20).

Along with his popular Trump-skewering on The Daily Show, Noah has also released a hit autobiographical book about his upbringing in tumultuous South Africa called Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.

We spoke to him exclusively before he came to the fest last year; see the interview here

In other news, the fest, which runs February 16 to 25, has also added other shows to the lineup, in association with SiriusXM. Amid the add-ons: The Kiss My Ass tour stop at the Fox Cabaret on February 16, featuring unlikely pals Dicker Troy (Johnny Pemberton) and Josh Fadem; the multimedia film My Entire High School Sinking Into the Sea by graphic novelist Dash Shaw on February 21 at the Rio Theatre; B-sides, with its offbeat mix of throwaways and Q&As, hosted by Chris Gordon on February 21 at the Biltomore Cabaret.

There are also new shows being piled onto the popular, locally based the Best of the West series, presented by Sirius XM: The Sunday Service, the wonderfully warped, long-form brain child of Ryan Beil, Caitlin Howden, Kevin Lee, Aaron Read, Taz VanRassel, Emmett Hall, and sometimes Mark Chavez, on February 19 at the Fox Cabaret; and the Laughter Party on February 23 at XY Nightclub, where a DJ spins dance tunes after the jokes.
