Interested in joining the circus? Good news: Cirque du Soleil is looking to fill over 200 positions ahead of the debut of its Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities production in Vancouver this fall—and not one requires any form of athletic or acrobatic ability.

The Montreal-based entertainment company is hosting a hiring fair in downtown Vancouver until August 31 in search of locals to work in positions such as box office clerk, food-and-beverage concession worker, usher, and VIP host or hostess. Culinary roles such as kitchen chef and prep cook are also available, while those who score costume dresser gigs will be able to get up-close with performers.

All positions are by contract for the duration of the show’s run, from October 19 to December 31, at Concord Pacific Place.

The hiring fair takes place on the following dates, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bentall Centre’s Tower II (505 Burrard Street) on the 11th floor. Interested applicants should bring their resume, SIN card, two references, and two pieces of ID.

Cirque du Soleil’s Kurios is a 19th-century tale that takes place in a steampunk setting, where viewers are taken on a journey to find a hidden dream world. Written and directed by Michel Laprise, it is the company’s 35th production. Tickets start at $49 and are now on sale.
