Ad Mare Quintet performs at Chan Centre on September 22

      Vancouver’s premier wind ensemble will perform works by Walter Hartley, Jacques Ibert, and Darius Milhaud next week.

      On September 22 at noon the Ad Mare Quintet--composed of flutist Chris James, oboist Marea Chernoff, clarinetist Anne-Katherine Coope, French-horn player Valerie Whitney, saxophonist Julia Nolan, and bassoonist Sophie Dansereau--will perform at the Chan Centre's Chan Shun Concert Hall. 

      The program, presented by the UBC School of Music, will include Hartley's Chamber Music, Ibert's Histoires pour quatuor d'anches, and Milhaud's La cheminée du roi René.
