The Arts Club Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for Peter Pan Goes Wrong, which kicks off its season at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage on September 8.

Originally scheduled for the Arts Club's 2019–2020 season, the show was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but will now be presented by arrangement with Mischief Theatre Worldwide, in association with Citadel Theatre.

Based on the original direction by Adam Meggido, the show will feature dance choreography by Christine Bandelow and musical direction by Steven Greenfield, plus creative costume and set design by Simon Scullion. Other members of the creative team include Matt Haskins (lighting designer), Ella Wahström (sound designer), Karen Johnson-Diamond (assistant director), and Pamela Jakobs (stage manager). Flight direction is by Janine Waddell, who's also overseeing stunt coordination with Samara Von Rad.

The cast includes Alexander Ariate (Dennis), April Banigan (Francis), Alexandra Brynn (Sandra), Jamie Cavanagh (Jonathan), Chris Cochrane (Robert), Belinda Cornish (Annie), Oscar Derkx (Max), Sebastian Kroon (Trevor), and Andrew MacDonald-Smith (Chris).

“This piece is the perfect, family-friendly slapstick celebration of theatre to open our 2022–2023 season," raves Arts Club artistic director Ashlie Corcoran in a news release. "We’re thrilled this North American premiere production will be featuring an all-Canadian cast, including some local Arts Club favourites.

"The show really has it all," Corcoran adds, "high energy, imagination, and, of course, endless laughs. I think Mischief Theatre’s work has been so successful because they do silly humour with such heart, smarts, and passion, and Peter Pan Goes Wrong is no exception!”

Tickets for Peter Pan Goes Wrong range from $35 and you can find them here.
