Arts Club announces duo of holiday treats for December

Arts Club Theatre Company has announced two December shows for anyone looking to add a little (artistic) festivity to their holiday season.

Mom’s the Word: Talkin’ Turkey, put on by the Mom’s the Word Collective, promises relatability in the form of holiday and familial dysfunction. Jill Daum, Alison Kelly, Robin Nichol, Barbara Pollard, and Deborah Williams will each offer up wisdom, wit, and “yuletide truths” (think: everyone yelling in the kitchen while the turkey bakes). This remount of the popular 2022 rendition opens December 5 at the Granville Island Stage.

The Gingerbread Men: A Holiday Cabaret features charming crooners Brennan Cuff, Brandyn Eddy, Jeremy Lowe, and Jeffrey Victor harmonizing and toe-tapping their way through merry classics—dressed, no doubt, in their finest velvet. This troupe has performed on Broadway and at the Stratford Festival, and is bringing its signature nostalgic melodies and sweet traditions to the Newmont Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre starting December 1.
