Arts Umbrella will bring its Mixed Nuts dance production back to Vancouver, featuring a full-length production of The Nutcracker.

Tchaikovsky's classic will be performed from December 10 to 12 at the Vancouver Playhouse, incorporating such dance styles as hip-hop, ballroom, and the classic grand pas-de-deux.

The program features dancers ages 13-22 performing old favourites and new pieces choreographed by local dancers, including Ballet BC and Kidd Pivot company members.
