The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in yet another major disappointment for Vancouver arts fans.

The collaborative Re-Space performance scheduled for November 20 and 21 at the Polygon has been postponed, according to the following statement released by event organizers today:

Due to the recent announcement of new restrictions from the Provincial Health Officer in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ballet BC, The Polygon Gallery, and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra have made the difficult decision to postpone Re-Space to a later date. While we are incredibly excited for you to see what we have created together, the health and safety of our patrons, as well as the artists and staff involved, is of utmost importance...

The past few weeks, as we have moved into the final stage of creation for this site-specific world premiere, have proven to us once again that collaboration is at the heart of live performance. We know you miss the live arts as much as we do! We look forward to welcoming our audiences back into direct relationship with our work as soon as we are safely able to do so.

For future info on a rescheduled date for Re-Space visit the Polygon website.
