Seven big musical productions will take the stage at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre in the coming year, as Broadway Across Canada has just unveiled its 2024/2025 season lineup.

From fantastical tales to retellings of rock ‘n roll legends, theatre lovers old and young will find something to enjoy during this year’s Broadway Across Canada run.

“We’re thrilled to bring this stellar lineup of Broadway productions to Vancouver for the 2024/2025 season,” says Shana Levin, vice president of Broadway Across Canada, in a release. “Each show this season offers a unique and unforgettable experience, promising laughter, tears, and everything in between.”

The first of the seven productions is Come From Away, a musical that tells the true story of the small town in Newfoundland that opened its doors to stranded travelers—7,000 of them—on September 11, 2001. It plays from September 10 to 15 this year.

Next is nine-time Tony Award winner The Book of Mormon, playing November 12 to 17.

From January 21 to 26, 2025, Beetlejuice will debut in Vancouver. Based on the 1988 Tim Burton’s film, the tongue-in-cheek musical follows teenager Lydia Deetz, who meets a recently deceased couple and the laughable, lovable demon Beetlejuice.

Then TINA will take the stage from March 25 to 30, 2025, paying homage to the late queen of rock herself. The musical hits Tina Turner’s most recognized hits, detailing her story of becoming one of the world’s most beloved musical icons.

Rounding out the season is SIX—as in the six wives of Henry VIII—reduxing the historical figures for the 21st century (May 13 to 18, 2025); forever classic Disney’s The Lion King (August 20 to September 14, 2025); and Riverdance 30 - The New Generation (June 10 to 15, 2025).
