Vancouver Early Music has announced that it will present a Vancouver performance by the Ensemble Correspondances from Lyon, France, on May 6.

The 15-member group will perform at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts under the directorship of Sébastien Daucé. 

"Correspondances is a group of singers and instrumentalists, all of whom are specialists in the music of the Grand Siècle," reads a news release from Vancouver Early Music. "In a few short years of existence, they have become a benchmark ensemble in the 17^th century French repertory."
