The immersive exhibition Imagine Van Gogh will now be spending the summer in Vancouver.

Promoter Pascal Bernardin Encore Production has announced that the display of more than 200 Vincent Van Gogh paintings--which opens today and fills more than 25,000 square feet of the Vancouver Convention Centre--will continue until August 29 of this year. (The exhibition was previously scheduled to run from March 19 to April 23.)

"The exhibit brings Van Gogh's canvases to life in a vivid, spectacular way," reads the event info, "allowing the viewer to enter and roam the luminous dreamscapes conjured by Vincent Van Gogh, accompanied by the music of Prokofiev, Saint-Saëns, Schubert, Mozart, Satie, and more."
