Kaska Dena photographer Kali Spitzer speaks at Indigenous Complexities on December 11

      Indigenous (Kaska Dena) queer Jewish artist Kali Spitzer will speak at a virtual talk presented by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden on December 11.

      The multidisciplinary artist, who works predominantly with film photography, will take part in the event titled Indigenous Complexities.

      "Her remarkable and unapologetic works include portraits, figure studies, and photographs of her people, ceremonies, and culture," reads the event info. "With particular focus on cultural revitalisation and significance through her art, Kali is committed to create much needed space for LGBTQA+ and BIPOC individuals so they feel seen and accurately represented."
