Metro Vancouver's theatre companies have been hit as hard as anyone by the ongoing pandemic. What they've been through these last six months is nothing to laugh about. 

Or is it?

Laughing beats crying any day, so with that in mind you should pencil in a visit to Presentation House on October 6, 7, or 8. (Or just hang around your computer at 7:30 pm for the livestream.)

That's when some of the most chuckle-worthy comedians in town will gather for the fifth annual All-star Standup Comedy Nights, with proceeds going to help Presentation House Theatre get by in these tough times.

Canadian comedian, writer, producer, and haberdasher Erica Sigurdson will host the event, which will feature performances by comics Julie Kim, John Cullen, and Jacob Samuel from CBC's radio show The Debaters.
