Mashed Sabbath 50 features eight spoken-word artists riffing on Black Sabbath's Paranoid album April 27

      As part of the Verses Festival of Words, the 50th edition of Mashed Poetics will feature Black Sabbath’s classic 1970 album Paranoid.

      Spoken-word artists performing the Sabbath songs include Justin McGrail ("War Pigs"), Deanna Smith ("Paranoid"), S.R. Duncan ("Planet Caravan"), Alexandra Oliver ("Iron Man"), David Geary ("Electric Funeral"), Brandon Wint ("Hand of Doom"), Khodi Dill ("Rat Salad"), and Cass King ("Faeries Wear Boots").

      Black Sabbath cover band Rat Salad will also perform at the event.
