Vancouver New Music will present an online concert of works for solo guitar performed by Adrian Verdejo, founding member of the Victoria Guitar Trio.

The concert by Verdejo--who has also played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, VICO, Turning Point, and Aventa--will be available for streaming from February 20 to 28.

The program includes works by Rodney Sharman (For Guitar), Diego Lozano Verduzco (Cáscara), Wolf Man Edwards (Chains), Peter Hannan (Punkt not punked), and Julia Mermelstein (Falling into the unknown).

The works by Edward and Hannan are world premieres commissioned by Adrian Verdejo with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.
