The Vancouver Podcast Festival has just announced that it will be returning for an "at-home" edition, happening online from November 18 to 22.

The five-day festival, presented by DOXA, will feature podcast creators, hosts, and producers in a mix of live events, workshops, and panels, as well as its first-ever pitch session.

"Vancouver Podcast Festival (at home) may look a little different, but we’re excited to continue showcasing the best storytellers and audio producers from around Vancouver, Canada, and the globe,” says VanPodFest's Hannah McGregor in a press release. “Our pared-down online programming has a little bit of something for everyone, whether you’re a brand new podcaster looking to pitch your ideas, a producer trying to put together a great show despite social distancing, or a fan excited to see your favourite podcasters live.”
Event highlights include In Conversation: Michelle Shephard (Brainwashed) and Ian Hanomansing, Sandy & Nora Talk Politics (live recording), Pop Chat (live recording hosted by Elamin Abdelmahmoud), How to Monetize Your Podcast (workshop hosted by Lauren Bercovitch and Chris Kelly), VanPodFest Pitch session, Producer’s Roundtable, and Narrative News Panel.
Festival passes and individual tickets go on sale today (October 14), with prices ranging from free or pay-what-you-can to $5 (students/seniors/reduced income) and $10 (adults) per ticketed event, and $25 (full festival pass).
