Jody Wilson-Raybould, the Independent Member of Parliament for Vancouver Granville, is featured in an online book launch and author's talk on September 15.

Wilson-Raybould--who served as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, the Minister of Veterans Affairs, and the Associate Minister of National Defence until her resignation in 2019 following the SNC-Lavalin affair--will be talking about her new book, Indian in the Cabinet: Speaking Truth to Power, with journalist Dana Gee.

According to the event description, the book is "Wilson-Raybould's story of getting into federal politics, her experience as an Indigenous leader sitting around the Cabinet table, her proudest achievements, the very public SNC-Lavalin affair, and how she got out and moved forward."

Tickets for the conversation with Jody Wilson-Raybould range from $0 to $20 (pay what you can), and you can find them here.
