Pat Quinn and Brent Hayden headline B.C. Sports Hall of Fame class of 2013

The B.C. Sports Hall of Fame has announced the names that will be inducted later this year.

Former Canucks player, coach, and general manager Pat Quinn will be joined in the hall by Olympic swimmer Brent Hayden, golfer Dawn Coe-Jones, basketball coaches Ken and Kathy Shields, rugby player Robert Hinson, triathlon's Peter Reid, and lacrosse star Kevin Alexander.

Longtime television producer Larry Isaac will be inducted in the media category, while Larry Kwong, who played for the 1948 New York Rangers, will be added as a sports pioneer.

The 1965 Ocean Falls swim club will join the hall in the team category.

The induction ceremony will take place September 19 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

The B.C. Sports Hall of Fame is located at Gate A at B.C. Place Stadium.
