The Georgia Straight presents Hannah Georgas at the Rio

Live Nation has announced that Canadian indie-pop singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas will perform--with guests the Belle Game--at the Rio Theatre on Saturday, April 27, in support of her new self-titled album.

Born and raised in newmarket, Ontario, Georgas has called Vancouver home for the past five years.

With Hannah Georgas, her second studio album, she has found new ways to marry her essential singer-songwriter sensibility to elaborate studio soundscapes, creating an album of rich, emotionally resonant synth-pop.

Tickets for the show (general admission, 19+) are priced at $22.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (March 1) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
