Did you ever tie a blanket around your neck and pretend to be Superman or imagine your stuffed animals were Ewoks? If so, you'd have something in common with short film "Hoverboard", which examines the power a person's favourite film can wield and the imagination it can inspire.

Directed by Sydney Freeland as part of the PBS Online Film Festival, this short film tells the story of a young girl who, along with her teddy bear, attempts to recreate the hoverboard from Back to the Future Part II, as well as a cardboard version of the DeLorean.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to recreate a scene from Jurassic Park with a plastic dinosaur and an apple.
