Bob Seger's setlist goes heavy on the Night Moves album

The first time I saw Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band in concert was back in '76, when he was backing up Blue Oyster Cult at the PNE Gardens. That was just a month after he'd released his soon-to-be-huge album, Night Moves.

Mind you, it was also just six months after B.O.C. had released Agents of Fortune, which featured a little ditty called "(Don't Fear) The Reaper". Needless to say, I was pretty psyched about both acts.

They say that life's like a circle, and I'd tend to agree, 'cause tonight I'm goin' to see Seger for possibly the last time, and according to one online source his current setlist includes more than half the songs from Night Moves.

Two nights ago he played the Saddledome in Calgary, and setlist.fm reports that he played six of the album's nine tracks, including "The Fire Down Below", "Mainstreet", "Come to Poppa", and "Sunspot Baby", and for his second encore, "Night Moves" and "Rock and Roll Never Forgets".

I just hope that Bob might see this blog and consider squeezing one more Night Moves number into tonight's set in Vancouver. "Ship of Fools", anyone?

And hey, since it's request time, any chance of "Till it Shines" from the Stranger in Town album too?
