The doctor who administered the dose of propofol which killed Michael Jackson has granted his first two media interviews since he was charged with involuntary manslaughter and jailed in November of 2011.

Although his answers were limited as his lawyer prevented him from responding to key questions, Murray maintained his innocence throughout.

Jackson's mother and children are charging AEG Live, the company which was promoting the star's comeback This Is It tour, with wrongful death.

The interviews come as the trial begins in L.A.
