The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors PEP Talks with Lisa Bloom

PEP Talks, a speaker series presented by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, comes to a close with a talk by Lisa Bloom on June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton Street).

Bloom will give a talk on how to raise smart kids in the new millennium. Bloom is the author of Think: Straight Talk for Women to Stay Smart in a Dumbed-Down World and Swagger: 10 Urgent Rules for Raising Boys in an Era of Failing Schools, Mass Joblessness, and Thug Culture.
