Photos from the 2013 Leo Awards: no rain on the red carpet

    1 of 15 2 of 15

      For 15 years, the Leo Awards has run a red carpet without getting rained out. Those are crazy odds.

      The annual awards show, which celebrates the best in B.C. film, TV and web production, was held yesterday (June 8) at the Westin Bayshore.

      In response to:

      "Not sure who these people are but they were excellent for colour calibration" - Andrew Chin

      They are the Leo Awards Trophy Models, provided by TRAZ Girls Agency here in Vancouver.

      Oh no you didn't use the word "hornier" as if it were one! Maybe try "sexier" in its place? We wouldn't want to offend the lovely Leah Gibson, now would we? I was there at the Leos as well...just looking out for my fellow writers.

      Let me just add if you don’t know who someone is and you missed the preceding card which states said info, don’t publish that picture. Who else was there? Oh yeah! Amanda Tapping! Didn't she HOST the Leos last year? Where's HER picture? You may be funny(your comment about Sarah Deakins' hat made coffee come out of my nose), however, not very bright. These are the Leos, dude. Have some respect. You write for the Georgia Straight?! Okay then. Good luck with that! Tell the editors to give ME a shout next year! LOL! ;-)

      Martin Traz: You quoted the photographer Andrew Chin, instead of the writer Adrian Mack.

      That's correct *Correction, Andrew had nothing to do with the caption and he was actually very careful about getting everybody's name(s).

      Hi Adrian;

      I merely copy and pasted the caption under the photo and did not mean to interpret as the information had come from Andrew. Thank you so much for the quick communication!
