Live Nation has announced that Los Angeles-based rock group Haim will play a show at the Commodore Ballroom on Thursday, October 24, as part of the Straight Series.

Consisting of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, and drummer Dash Hutton, Haim is truly a family affair for the group which prides itself on being able to switch from instrument to instrument with complete confidence and ease,  all while singing in three-part harmony.

The sisters grew up playing classic-rock songs with their parents in a family band, called “Rockinhaim,” which played for charity events and street fairs. Now striking out on their own, Este plays bass guitar, Danielle plays lead guitar, and Alana--the youngest in the band--plays rhythm guitar, keyboard, and percussion.

Tickets for the 19+ show are priced at $18.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (August 2) at 10 a.m. but Straight readers can take advantage of our exclusive presale from Wednesday (July 31) at 10 a.m. to Thursday (August 1) at 10 p.m. by going to the Ticketmaster website and submitting our exclusive presale password forever.
