Squamish Valley Music Festival releases daily lineups

      Planning your Squamish Valley Music Festival weekend has got a little easier with the official announcement of this year's headliners and daily lineups.

      British neo-soul crooner Sam Smith tops the first big day of the festival on Friday (August 7), with the undercard including Brandon Flowers, Schoolboy Q, Chance the Rapper, and Hot Chip.

      The immaculately coiffed Sam Smith tops the Friday night bill of this year's Squamish Valley Music Festival.

      Drake bats cleanup on Saturday (August 8), where the support talent features Of Monsters and Men, Death From Above 1979, Porter Robinson and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.

      Mumford & Sons closes the festival on Sunday (August 9), the lineup rounded out by Alabama Shakes, Kaskade, Mother Mother, and the Kills.

      The festival has also announced new additions to the roster, including Galantis and Dralms on August 7, A$AP Rocky, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Years & Years on August 8, and Son Real and Bebe Rexha on August 9.

      The Squamish Valley Music Festival features over 70 local and international artists. Single-day passes, which will be released on Thursday (March 26) at www.ticketmaster.ca, are available from $149.50 plus service charges.
