CBC broadcaster Stephen Quinn makes a Best of Vancouver fashion statement

The irrrepressible Stephen Quinn, creator of CBC Radio's Quinn's Quiz and occasional fill-in host on Q, won the Georgia Straight's annual Best of Vancouver vote in the afternoon-radio-host category.

In the Twitter photo above, he chose an unusual way to display his accomplishment. No doubt, it was inspired by Flavor Flav.

It's worth noting that current-affairs hosts generally don't do as well in the Best of Vancouver balloting as deejays, which makes Quinn's victory all the more remarkable.

Give some of the credit to Lisa Christiansen as Quinn's ultra-witty traffic-talkin', music-lovin' sidekick.

She and Quinn have managed to make CBC Radio's On The Coast one of the most amusing and informative shows on the dial.
