Homeless in Vancouver: Can't stare down a Jersey barrier

      You’re bound to lose a staring contest with an inanimate object (it tends to be inert and unblinking) but this Jersey barrier off Hemlock Street goaded me into it by first making a face and then by sticking out its tongue at me!
